Common exercises performed in the fitness centre involve knee flexion which focus on biceps femoris (Long & Short Head), semitendinosus, semimembranosus, gracilis, sartorius, popliteus and gastrocnemius (for example, seated leg curl machine or a supine stability ball bridge with leg curl).
