On September 15, 2006 the Body Worlds 3 exhibition opened at Science Worldin Vancouver . Body Worlds was created by Dr. Gunther van Hagens (theinventor of plastination) and offers an intimate look into the humanbody. Approximately 200 human specimens are displayed in this exhibit,some as whole body plastinates, individual organs, transparent body slicesand healthy and diseased organs.
