American Obesity Epidemic May Have Topped Out

HYATTSVILLE, Md., Nov. 28 -- The nation's obesity epidemic may have reached its peak, the CDC reported today.
Although new data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) found a slight rise in obesity, as defined by a body mass index of 30 or higher, in 2005-2006 from 2003-2004, the increases were not statistically significant. Action Points
Explain that the study found that obesity prevalence in the United States has remained about the same for the past several years, but is still high.
