Understanding Trigger Points to Overcome Pain with William N. Huhn Douglas College (Royal Ave & 8th St ) - New Westminster, BC
This workshop covers information on myofascial trigger points and how they play a role in acute and chronic pain issues. Trigger points will affect muscles in the sedentary or athletic body and can cause a considerable amount of long term misery if you are unfamiliar with their behavior and how to remove them. The objective here is to focus some light on myofascial pain and a type of bodywork that has been overlooked and misunderstood for far too long, especially in the fitness arena.
