The Cause of Foot Pronation
I got a guest video blog post for you, today.
It is from Justin Price.
Justin answers the most common question he gets asked at his courses and at the conferences he
presents at:
What Causes Over Pronation?
==> http://exercisesforinjuries.com/what-causes-foot-over-pronation/
In the video Justin shares with you:
- What over pronation is
- What causes over pronation
- How the shoes you are wearing can be making your pronation worse
- The influence of gluteus maximus on pronation
- How the illiotibial band and tibia affect pronation
==> http://exercisesforinjuries.com/what-causes-foot-over-pronation/
Justin Price will be coming to Vancouver to present his course for the first and only time in March 2011.
In the course, Justin will focus on the assessment side of things in day one and on day two the focus will be what
exercises to give based on the assessment.
I selected Justin as one of the international experts to bring to Vancouver because I have learned a lot when it
comes to lower body assessment from him and his assessments of the foot have been very helpful.
Plus I find his corrective exercises very unique and different from what I have seen from others.
That is it for today.
On Wednesday, I will have a very exciting announcement for you. I can’t wait to tell you about it.

2011 Events
I am working on my course schedule for 2011 and have it all set.
You can check it out here:
==> Upcoming Courses <== Courses in 2011
I am excited to have this out because:
- I am finding trainers, coaches and therapists want to know what courses are coming out months ahead of time
- I have a solid idea on when I can set up private courses for facilities
- I can get the word out on special presenters that I am bringing in like Justin Price
Speaking of Justin Price.
He is one of the presenters that I am bringing in from out of town.
Well, out of country, to Vancouver Canada to present on corrective exercises.
He specializes in corrective exercises for clients with chronic pain.
I have read and watch a lot of his stuff and have been very interested in his approach.
Plus he is a New Zealander so his approach is very different than what we usually see in North America.

Are You Overtraining Your Abs?
I came across an article and it got me thinking:
==> Injuries from Ab Overtraining <---- Not What You Think
The article was on overtraining your abs.
We all know about ab training leading to an increased risk of disc herniations
but this may not be the only potential injury.
The article got me thinking of new injury risks from overtraining your abs,
especially if you do any exercises or work overhead.
Plus I have some exercises to help prevent ab overtaining.
==> Exercises to Prevent Overtraining <---- Few Exercises
In a second article I read, it talked about empty can and full can exercises.
Which is the best if you have shoulder impingement.
==> Which Can Exercise is Better? <---- Rotator Cuff Exercises
That is it.
